This Agreement governs the usage of this website, which is owned and operated by Celestial Buddies LLC. Please read it over carefully, as by using the Celestial Buddies™ website, you agree to all of its terms and conditions.
The Celestial Buddies™ Website: www.celestialbuddies.com and all its content, images and plush characters (except those items in the public domain) are owned by Celestial Buddies LLC and may be protected by patent, trademark and copyright laws. No image may be used or reproduced without advance written permission from Celestial Buddies LLC, except that it is permissible to reproduce, distribute, display or transmit a small portion of the materials solely for personal and noncommercial purposes related to the purchase of products from this Website. If you do so, however, you must also include all trademark, copyright and other proprietary rights in the same form in which such notices appear on the Website. Except for the use noted above, you may not reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in selling, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the images or products appearing on this website. Any unauthorized use of the Website, Images, Trademarks, and other intellectual property of Celestial Buddies LLC may result in an action for infringement.
Celestial Buddies™ reserves the right to modify and change these Terms and Conditions at any time, with such changes and modifications to be effective on the date on which they are posted. You are therefore advised to review the Terms and Conditions each time you visit the Website.
The products we sell on this site are available while supplies last. We will notify you as soon as possible if we run out of stock. Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars. They are valid and effective only in the United States at the time of posting and may be subject to change. We take great care and effort to make sure the product pictures on the Website are as accurate as possible, but we cannot guarantee your monitor’s ability to display the product accurately.
We accept orders every day of the week, and we ship every day from Monday through Friday, except holidays, normally within one or two business days of receipt of your order. We ask that you please plan in advance if you need your item by a certain date. For retail orders with the United States, we ship via USPS Priority Mail, which includes insurance and normally takes 2-3 business days for delivery. For retail orders from outside the United States, we ship via USPS First Class International, which normally takes 5-10 days. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on your postal code and the weight of items you order, and they are automatically calculated when you place your order.
For bulk orders and some international orders, if postage is not automatically calculated, please email us at email@example.com, and we will promptly provide a quote.
If you choose a shipping method that does not include insurance and your item is lost in the postal system, we will not refund your payment.
If your item is lost in the postal system, please contact your LOCAL Post Office with your tracking number and printed shipping confirmation email to file a claim. (We do NOT recommend that you contact the USPS HOTLINE , as this can take a lot of time, and, in the end, they will likely tell you only what your tracking report already says. At the Local Post Office, ask who delivered the parcel and the details about that day's delivery. They are accustomed to these types of questions, and they can usually provide helpful information. If you need to file a formal claim, your Local Post Office will assist you, as Celestial Buddies, LLC does not file claims on our customers' behalf.
Once the USPS has reported your shipment as "Delivered," Celestial Buddies will not be responsible for anything that might have happened after the delivery.
All shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Unless otherwise specified, if you are exchanging an item, you are responsible for paying shipping to send it back to us, and for us to ship the new item to you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Celestial Buddies, LLC reserves the right to ship some orders via UPS, even when USPS Priority has been chosen by the customer, if doing so will result in faster and/or less expensive delivery service.
FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL:
By using the service USPS First Class Mail International,you will be agreeing to the following terms*:
1. Celestial Buddies, LLC does not provide insurance on First Class International Packages, nor does USPS.
2. There is absolutely nothing Celestial Buddies, LLC can do to speed the delivery/customs process on these orders
3. Once the item leaves the United States, we cannot provide tracking for the item or inquire about its status

We must charge Sales Tax at the rate of 6.35% on all retail purchases shipped to the State of Connecticut. Sales Tax will be calculated automatically on the price of the item(s) before shipping charges are added.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We will handle requests for returns and exchanges on an individual basis. If you are not happy with your order, or you find that the product is defective, please contact Celestial Buddies immediately (firstname.lastname@example.org), and in no event later than seven business days from the date of delivery, to discuss. Any unauthorized returns not in keeping with this policy will not be accepted.
Merchandise damaged during manufacture or shipment will be replaced once we have received the defective item. Returns/exchanges are only accepted on unused and or unopened items in the original packaging with all tags intact. If the item is returned opened or un-sellable, refunds and or exchanges will not be granted.
Buyers are responsible for return/exchange shipping costs. If a refund is granted, we will refund the buyer the product listed price. A product may be exchanged for a different item, but if an item of greater value is chosen, buyer will be responsible for the difference. If a lesser item is purchased, buyer will be refunded the difference.
